Clans of Caledonia is one of our favorite games, and when the Industria expansion came to Kickstarter, we backed it immediately. The big box comes with an insert that is much better than most game inserts, but nothing beats a well-designed wooden insert!
Laserox’s Industria Organizer is designed for the big box and fits all available content for the game, including both the base game and the expansion. It comes with separate trays for players, different types of tokens, resources, and more. Unlike the default insert, none of the trays need lids, and everything fits together perfectly. The trays for resources and coins are also designed so that taking tokens out of them is very easy. And best of all, most trays have beautiful engravings on them.

Assembly is mostly straightforward. Taking the parts out of the sheets requires patience and caution; otherwise, the wooden pieces can chip. You can use glue to reinforce some parts, but almost all of them fit together tightly and don’t need any. The instructions show a map of the pieces on each sheet, but it would be easier if the numbers were printed next to the pieces instead of having to find them visually.
This insert is nicely done, makes setup and teardown quick, and looks incredible on the table. If you take Clans of Caledonia to the table often, this insert is worth checking out.
Resource and Coin Trays

Resources and coins can be taken out of their compartments easily. Resource multipliers can be stored with their respective tokens, or in other trays that have extra space.
Player, Contract, Tile, and Clan Trays

Each player gets their own wagon that stores all player tokens and the rules reference neatly.
Expansion Content

Dedicated trays for most of the expansion content. The card holder has dividers for different decks of cards.
How Everything Fits into the Box

All trays fit together and cover each other perfectly, so the game can be stored vertically. There is also no lid lift when you put the lid back on.
Please keep in mind that we received a review copy of this insert.
